Im quite possibly going to be replacing the clutch in my 94 LX four door sometime in the next couple months. Has anyone done their own clutch? Im wondering how much work it is, how long it would take, what kind of tools I will need, etc. I havent done a lot of work on my own cars before, although I am going to attempt to clean out the EGR ports this weekend. The dealership wanted to charge me something like $250, and from what I have read, it wont be too difficult to do myself. The clutch may be another story though.

Might be I dont need to replace the clutch. I'll post the explanation of what its doing in the proper forum.

you should pick up a haynes repair manual, it will tell you all the tools you need, and a step by step process. They run about 30 bucks, but well worth it considering that you wont ever need to buy another manual for your car.

I am having trouble opening the files in the link that was given above. What application or process is used to open them?
