Rims and Tires 2005 Accord LX

Hi all,
 
It's my first post here.
I have a 2005 Accord LX I-4 with Michelin MXV4 205/65R15 stock tires.
I am considering to buy winter tires since I'll be commuting a bit far this year.
 
Here is my dillema, I'm leasing this vehicle and only have 2 years left.
I'm thinking to lease or buy a 2009 accord / tsx when this lease expired.
 
If I buy a 205/65/15 winter tires, can I safely use them with 2008 accord / tsx with 215/50R17 or 225/50R17 stock tires spec. The diameter difference is only about 1%.
 
or should I get 205/60R16 winter tires. However it kinda defeats the purpose by going larger for winter tires?
