Rims with tires...

Looking to get new tires before Xmas 08... why not get the rims to go with them?
 
I have 5 lug
 
stock 2004 Accord Sedan LX... US Manufactured....
 
looking for either stock 15's to replace stock (hubcaps) now
or 16's
or 17's
 
Can i assume this will void out any warantee i have with the vehicle?
 
currently have a 6 year/60,000 powertrain...
and a 6 month / 5000 bumper to bumper....
 
 
 

I have never seen new rims/tires void a warranty... However, sounds like you have a honda certified warranty so you could call the dealer if you're concerened and see what their limitations are.

Moss-Magnusen says no, but the might give you a hassle for wheel bearings or rotors.

yeah i bet they would  have something to say about it....
 
i sorta need rotors too... not that it would be covered under the original warranty anyway...
 
yeah i do have a certified pre owned car...  not too shabby
 04 accord LX with 27K for 14000 with huge warranty
seems to be working out
 
put almost 13k on it in 5 months.... daily commuter.... sucksss   30mpg consistant...

What size rims do i need?
 
I know they are stock 15's (5 lug) not sure of the measurment between the bolt pattern.
 
Debating calling a few junkyards and tryin to get a set of 4 rims with tires.... should be able to do it under $400 i would think....
 
Even stock 16's or stock 17's from Honda would be ok.... i know some of the Civic SI and random accord rims are kinda nice....

Will not Void any warranty's ..
 
You decide what size rim you want to go with...only your wallett and your personal taste can tell you...what you want or like...

i have some 16 montegi rims no tires though
