Easy there killer.  Check out or DIY section on how to use it.

As for what it is.  Basically it's a detergent for cleaning your car.  It does for your cars oil, engine and gas what dawn does for dishes.

1/2 Can in the Brake booster line

1/2 can in the oil (in place of some oil)

and a seperate can to put 1/3-1/2 into the gas tank over 2-3 fillups

There you go, how to clean your motor without taking it apart.

usually its about $6 a can.
bear in mind after you put it in your oil, drive around at high rpms for awile, then CHANGE YOUR OIL!
seafoam isnt an oil additive... its not meant to stay in your oil.

For some yes, for others no. Used to own the Grand Prix and people used to use it religiously after seeing a few MPG gains from it. I saw the same from changing my fuel filter-- but that's another story.

If your engine/intake/fuelsystem is already clean then it won't do any good.  It's like washing your car - if it's ALREADY clean, it won't do any good to wash it again.
