i know there is a university here but not sure of the name...i really dont like the road system in this state...california's is more straight forward if u know what i mean

i hear an m3 can reach 70 mph on second gear?is that true

actually, i know what you mean, and i disagree...i think caltrans does a pretty good job, but TxDOT is really state of the art on a lot of stuff...
CA didnt number the mileage markers on their highways until a few years back...and even at that, the exits arent always assigned numbers...that is confusing...
although they do ahve those nice "Freeway Entrance" signs...just in case...haha

lol well i just really dont like how you need to yield for all incoming vehicles from I-40...and what also seems weird to me is 3 lane roads...you have two lanes going in one direction and the middle lane is incoming traffic...im just not use to this traffic

the yield thing is screwy, i'll give you that, but i like their access road system and the way they signalize their diamond interchanges (sorry....my job).
Yeah, the M3 hits 70 at redline in 2nd gear.
40 1st (i beleive...it revs really quickly through that point)
70 2nd
100 3rd
135 4th
155 5th
155 6th
delimted, its sposed to see 186. i'll never see that...haha

you work with traffic department? cool. i guess everything here is right off I-40..wow 70 on second is darn good...hondas is 55 on 2nd i believe, but i guess if you "do it right" you can reach 60 on 2nd..i just dont see it...i do remember hitting 55 mph on my 86 accord before tho(no longer own it)...lol damn if i had the m3 i'd hit 186 one day....id just have to do it lol

i do research on traffic signals, traffic flow, and vehicle detection...its not a bad gig.
I'd have to have the software flashed to get to that 186 number...everything is really, really expensive for the M3...but the bigger issue is that the car is still under a CPO warranty as well as covered maintenance, and I really hesitiate to do much to it while that is the case. to tell you the truth, besides changing fluids and the like, im kinda scared to work on it...

quite a bit i am sure. i thought about doing angel eyes for it, but again, just didnt want to f something up. actually, the car really doenst need much. you cant tweak much out of that engine..exhaust, intake...
