sohc to dohc

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knew much about converting an sohc to dohc and if it could be done and what kind of gain am i looking at.
im runnin' a 2000 accord coupe lx 4 cylinder.. F23A1 vtec.
but yea which one would fit? and off of which car?
