OT: Don't you think Saturn's would make the ultimate sleeper project?
Anyways...I really don't mind what car it is...I'm gonna end up dropping a lot of money into it anyways.

when someone comes out with a new and good looking idea, someones gonna bite it, or at least utake certain parts of it. its like that with all products, fashion, graffitti, architecture, its up to u to decide who uses those ideas the best way possible. here is the way i see it toyota comes with alot of ideas and new designs, honda improves upon them, and well hyundia makes them look cheap imo. except for that little hyundia hatchback that was being compared to the honda fit wow that is the best lokking hyundia ive ever seen. i may be the only one on here that feels this way , but that looks alot better than the fit. me likes alot, huuuugh, huugh

But its not...I'm telling you eventually Hyundai will get it right. When you mix parts from BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Chrysler, and Benz, you're bound to either have a car that blows everything out of the water or blows the company to bits.
"....first V8....producing over 300 HP....propels 0-60 in less than 6 seconds...Paddle-shift manumatic control will be standard on the production version." That's pretty sweet.

Well I think Dodge is going in a good direction...their cars seem to be diff. then most others. I may be biased to Dodge but oh well. I also agree that the cars are looking to much alike...its to bland.

Auto-makers are somewhat of what Arnold calls: "girly-men". They stick to one design that works and basically play around with it. Increase the width of the taillight here, lower the car .5" there, etc.
On the flip side, no one wants to be stuck in the boat with a revolutinary design that is just too radical or everyone dislikes.
Thus, we're in a stagant pool of design.
*prays that 08 Accord will NOT share anything from the Civic*
I bet if you checked the reycle bin outside of amany of the Hyundai factories, there's probably Toyota emblems from the front of cars as well as Honda's and Jaguar's and the instruction manuals or user manuals from all those cars, as well. But speaking of the Toyota Camry, I'm not a big fan of it. I think it was decent to begin with but now it's just too bulky.

Yeah...I have a feeling the Avalon is going to be phased out...and the Camry will replace it. There's gonna be another small car to slot under the Corolla...so everything moves up. Basically, the Camry will compete with the Maxima...once again.

With Hyundais getting passed around so much on the low end market, it's kind of hard to say. Similar to how old Hondas, Toyotas, and Subarus were passed around in the late 70s and 80s until people realized what a value they were. I don't think it will take too much longer before the resale value starts coming up.
We've had two of them in the driveway, a 98 Elantra and a 00 Sonata. Both were very reliable cars, great price/feature ratio, and we were very happy with them.

I would say that I will more than likely buy this new model of Hyundai when it comes out...Here's another thing Hyundai gives you when you buy one of their cars..at the end of your final deal after the price has been set..you tell them that you are a Hyundai Owner and they give you an additional $1500.00 off the price for whats called Customer Appreciation , How do I know this? Well WheelBrokerAng also Owns (paid for ) 2 Sonatas already

Thank You for Reading This

My gal's son & daughter in law have one. They drove down here over spring break in it (700 miles on the clock). I looked it over VERY closely, drove it, and I think it's a winner. Long term reliability is up in the air on a brand new model (from ANY maker) I must admit but the track record is good. We are tempted if we can swing the moola.

sorry i meant sonatagoodcar (not a good car) but actually they are starting to make a pretty good car. And I believe they are made in north america so I have no problem buying from them. The only real problem is that their resale value is worse than your average GM, Ford, or mabye even Chrysler product. Everyone copies everyone else in this day and age. How do you think honda got to be so big. They took the big 3's idea's, copied them and made them better so they don't break all the time. So I guess I agree with both sides.....copying sucks but it is inevidable and sometimes it makes for better products.
