I'm looking for a SRI for my 07 2.4 4cyl but haven't found one i'm wondering if an 05 would fit? the 05 has k24a4 and mine has the k24a8 would it fit? and what is the differance in the motor?

as long as the engine bay hasn't been re-configured you should be fine. Try to find a picture of an 05 with a SRI then compare it to your current engine bay.

Here's info on the engines:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_K_engine#K24A4 But that doesn't really give you any clue as to whether the SRI would fit in the engine bay... I'm certain it'd fit on the intake manifold, but that's about it. Won't know till you try?
Maybe take it to a local performance parts store and see if you can get them to bring one out to your engine bay in the parking lot, and visually piece it together?

no problem thats where i got my sri from also... about the cai and sri question...it had stated in the website that......
Complete Cold Air Intake: two intake tube sections that can be configured as a Short Ram or Cold Air Intake for extreme versatility
so i am guessing you could make it a cai or sri....

AFAIK, Fujita is the only manuf. that supports the MAF
i could be wrong though..
As for the Hydrolock, check out the link collection and under instruction, you'll see Hydrolock considerations as a link...
read and behold the glory!!!!

hydrolock? id only worry about that if i lived in really low, wet areas where 2' of water is a common thing.
