Stereo Won't Turn ON!!!!

1994 accord EX

well... yesterday my stereo would turn on and bring up the "code" thing... i forgot my code and tryed to type it in a couple times and i said... well ill leave it.... then today i go to turn it on and it wont bring up anything... the stereo is getting power and the CD part works..... i know my code again...lol

Does anyone know anything that will help me get the stereo to come back on????

GO ask honda about it or check the wiring on the back of the deck..... it could alos be antenna problem?

It sounds (no pun intented) that your cd player has decided to kick the bucket. Not too shabby for 11 years. Hit up the bay to find another one or you might as well get a new deck. I reccommend Nakamichi. It will look stock and sound great.

well... heres the thing... what i did was i got a high to low input adapter for an amplifier at Best Buy and conjoined those wires with the REAR speakers. I like shaved the plastic off wrapped the wire around the speaker wire that goes to the back of the stereo. its the big plug-in that has power, antenna, and all the speakers. Would that have done anything????

well... im gonna take it to honda next week and if its kicked the bucket then ill just take remingtons advise.. thanks all

i have found out the problem for this stereo... something i never thought of probably fryed a internal fuse in the head unit....my freind told me about this and im not to happy with myself... hooking up the positive last.... well if i cant fix it ill buy a new one

i would just replace it with a new one. That old stock crap needs to go buddy.
