Looks like Tsudo's kind of "coffee-can" muffler. You have a possibility of having a very ricey, tinny sound as a result.

Possibly get a silencer for it?  Im not sure if it will work or not.  Did you already order the muffler?

Yeah, I hear ya on the budget.  It sucks.  Ive been saving up, Im going with either the Apexi WS2 or the Greddy Evo2, but probably the Apexi, since I can find it for about $100 cheaper, and I also havent heard the Evo2 on an Accord...

Well when you get the muffler on there, let us know how it sounds.  Hope it works out for you!

See how it sounds...perhaps Tenzo is different than Tsudo. I would have held off the muffler and instead replace the entire exhaust...headers and all.

............. is there really a way to change the sound of a fartcan?

A silencer? But even that defeats the purpose...

You could add a resonator into the exhaust system to hush it up a little more.

Eh, you never know!  You may be surprised!  If it is to loud you could always coat the inside of the canister with a sound deadning material.  Or some high temp RTV.  Never heard of it before but it should work!

Huh?  I was just telling ohmustangs09 to install a resonator along with the muffler to resonate ( silence) that dreaded ricer, fart can sound.

hmm how much do these resonators cost ? can i get one put on after the new muffler is already put on?

Yep.  All factory exhaust systems have a resonator on them.  Just to take it to any muffler shop and they can fix you up.  They just cut a section of pipe out and replace it w/ the resonator.  Should be relatively cheap.
