Throttle Body Spacers

do they really make any noticeable increase in power.. im a youngin
i just got my accord a few weeks ago..i was wondering if throttle body spacers are legit or not.

anyone help meh?

it really only helps when you go boosted. the extra volume added to the intake plenum helps stabilize the incoming air so it is less turbulent when it goes down the runners into the head, increasing your cfm.

the air has to turn 90 degrees down the runners, so i dont see how that would help since it does that.

also, the velocity of the air is way above the Reynolds number to be laminar.  I agree with adding volume to balance out pressure, but the flow is very turbulent.  The swirl effect may work for the plenum, but won't get through the runners.

For NA, a throttle body spacer makes a beautiful place to drill in the fogger nozzle!!!

Is this seriously another TB Spacer thread?  There are only about 20 already on this site.  If the search function had even been acknowleged, this thread would not exist, wasting space on our forum.
