Im looking to tint my brand new car which I bought last week. I found good reliable places in the NYC area. But i have a question. One of the companies was like that the back window has this chemical covering on the top part and that has to be scraped off and that will run me total of $200 to tint the whole car. Im wondering if Honda itself tints cars and for how much? THanks

HMMMM! I paid $158 for an '04 SEDAN using 3M tint with a lifetime parts & labor warranty nationwide. Honda itself doesn't offer tint, that's done at the dealer level.

I just had mine done yesterday and it cost me $163 with tax. It looks great with no issues. They did say I had to bring it back in one week so they could re-roll the back window where the dots are along the top. I have an 05 EX-V6 Coupe.

hey.. whoever said something about the 3m tint. they seriously know what they are talking about. that shit is the absolute bomb. it doesnt have any metal in it so it wont interfer will you cell phone or any other signals that you want. plus, run of the mill tint looks gray, but the 3m looks BLACK. o yea and lifetime warranty. if you can find it for 158 bucks thats a good deal, cause i just paid 270.
