what would be the best route?

*ebay - seems pretty good, the means of getting 4 17-19 inch rims for around 800 total including shipping for some fancy looking rims, i dono if they are quality. is ebay safe for something like this? if i were to buy rims from a person would i want to get shipping insurance? please respond.

*tirerack - not too badly priced, get to see what they will actually look like on my car before purchasing.

*locally - i could EASILY get financed at some local tire shop for both rims and tires and could get some fancy ones for a pretty low monthly same as cash payment.

*manufacturer - direct from a rim/tire manufacturer?

thanks tons!!

It would be best if you purchased those wheels from someone like me who is trustworthy and above all honest .

What is the style of wheel you are looking for ?
Your bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 mm, your hub size is 64.1, your Offset is High+ 40-52 mm, and your lug nuts are 12x1.5mm.

would this honest, trustworthy person be you?  j.k

i would have no qualms about buying from angelo.

to the OP...a little off topic...but i would wait till i have cash in hand to buy rims / tires...no need to add to debt for that...but thats just my opinion

i have cash on hand, i just dont have a problem financing something so i dont spend my $1000-$2000 at once on the rims/tires.
and if its same as cash on paying it back ill b sure to pay that ** POOP**back before interest.

comin from the guy with the m3, why dont u just buy me a set of new rims? eh? eh??
jk...

I don't think eBay is all that bad. I got gently used (one track season) wheels and tires from a real person, not a store, on eBay. $750 shipped certainly beats $1800 brand new. The cost of the tires alone covers what I paid for the combo, the only way I got screwed was paying $150 for shipping from Calgary and a $75 customs fee.

Buying from Wheelbroker is the best of all choices in my humble opinion.

Same as cash is great!  That's the only way to make those bigger purchases.
