If you are not running high speds Id say get some Kuhmos. They are a bang for the buck actually, I had some Kuhmo Supras and I was quite happy with them.

at the track i run kumho supra ecsta 712s, and they were great...for a decent, all-season, and somewhat sporty tire, get the supra ecsta 711s....VERY CHEAP...

Here is some info for you about those tires...
Most cars are tire tuned by the OEM manufactures by the suspensions, therefore they put on certain speed rated tires to tune the suspension handling.
If a tire dealer sells you a H- rated tire and your car calls for a VR rated tire, he can be liable for your accident should you have one....as a XXXX tire store owner I found that out the Hard Way.
You can put on what you like but the tire will not be the "RIGHT" tire for your tuned suspension as the lawyers see it...
WheelBrokerAng.....hope this made sense too you!

I was just talkin about a bang for the buck deal, as you may know WB, Kumhos might be a joke to you, but they are a good deal, they also have excellent warrenties. Heck, Im runnung Kumhos right now on my civic.

My advice is to listen to WheelBroker. Why play with the manufacturer's original specifications? As a dealer he could lose his living by recommending the wrong tire.

Thank you my friend, as usual you are right with me.
As a dealer I could lose my living by recommending the wrong tire but most of all, my customers can lose their lives by also putting on the wrong speed rated tires..this is more important to me as a dealer than what brand a tire you would have on your ride.
I use both Yoko's on my cars and also have Kuhmo Ecasta 712's on one of my other cars..
So I like Kuhmo tires also..but I like safety in what I sell for the correct speed ratings from the manufacture...
WheelBrokerAng : My Honda in this picture has Kuhmo's on her...

This thread brings about a question.....
The Michelins that come standard on the '04 Accord 4cyl , MXV4 Energy 205X60X16, ride pretty rough. Is there such a thing as a V rated tire that has good wear, traction, and temperature numbers that rides well? I don't expect any V rated tire to be a pillow bed but these seem a bit harsh. I do run 35/33 psi which contributes to this but it sure helps in "spirited" cornering.
