About to buy new tires for my 2001 Accord EX. I am leaning towards Michelin Hydroedge and the standard size for the alloy wheels is P195/65R15's.

I would really like to put as wide of a tire on these standard alloy wheels as possible. Anyone try these sizes and have any luck?

P195/60R15 - a bit wider and lower

P205/70R15 - taller and wider

Any input would help. Thanks.

205/60, wider tire, same height. changes in height alter the speedometer.

I just bought a set of 17" rims for my 04 accord ex v6. They are the ones that come standard on the 6-speed manual v6. What would be good tires to get for the car and these rims?

I might refer you to a set of say 245/40/17 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's.

Good looking tire with a sweet looking sidewall and tread patch and usually priced right at about $117.00 per tire.

See them on their web site at www.kumhotireusa.com

Yo...
Im going to Goodyear today to sell the local Independent tire dealer some aftermarket wheels for a BenZo he bought so I will take a look at these Tires if he has some on display.

I will give you a report on how I like them in a day or when I post next.

Thanks Electric....

sooooo yeah i;ve had mine (goodyears) for a few weeks now and im in love hehe. Ive only got to try them in snow and wet pavement but they are stellar in both. I feel much more like i am getting sucked to the ground as opposed to just skimming along it. i'm coming from riding on Toyo proxies. i've actually had to fight to get the back end to cut lose with em. sometime i probably shouldnt be doing with new tires anyway but oh well. yeah in short...i give 4 stars, 2 thumbs yadda yadda. cant wait to see em in the dryness

hello folks... i have a 05 accord 4cyl 4dr sedan. i installed a new set of 215-50x17 wheels & rims from an acura tsx.. i have balanced the tires but i still feel a slight vibration around 40 - 50 mph.. what could the problem be? my brother told me it could be the tires not matched to the suspension... what tire pressure should i use? any info will be highly appreciated. thanks... sonny

Potenza RE900 on our hondas. I have 14" on my civic and my mom has 17" on her accord. These things are cheap and hug the road like glue but still allow for a great peel out.

I'd love to say I'm running an exotic set of tires but with 11,000 miles on my '04 I'm still with the Michelobs, uh Michelins, that came on it.
