Ive been looking at certain mods recently. For the most part an AEM fuel rail and pump (not the gas tank pump). also spark plug wires and maybe new plugs. the question is, is it worth it in terms of power? i plan on keeping the car through college and installing a turbo after. Will these mods aid the turbo? (as in stepping stones?)

Plugs and wires if they haven't been changed in..ever. The rest of that is pointless. Save your $$

upgraded fuel rail + fuel pump give you nothing unless there is a reason you need to supply the engine more fuel (aka it is boosted or stroked)

yea the fuel rail is pointess. u can buy new plugs and wires if its been awhile since they have been changed. but i agree with everyone else save ur money for something else.

Fuel rail & pump won't do anything (see nafango's response.)
Honda OEM plug wires (Sumomito) have been proven to outperform even the "upgrade" wires you can buy that supposedly increase hp. NGK PZFR5F-11 plugs (double platinums) are the best. No need to buy the Iriduims unless you are running mostly on the highway or spray.
Only buy NGK or Denso plugs.

make sure if u go with the wires you get the coil too otherwise its near pointless

That's not true. Never seen a wire arc to the engine?
Maybe add a cap and rotor though.

Get a performance clutch and flywheel.... Shifting is important too
