I have a 93 Accord Coupe SE.  The exhaust isn't in too great of shape and it's sounding pretty loud and ricey.  I don't like that.  I'd like for it to be as quiet as possible.  Anybody know where I can get an exhaust system like that?  Any recommendations?  Somewhere I can order it on the internet?  Thanks!

get OEM and then buy a silencer, that should make it VERY quiet

Anybody know of a good source?  I crawled under the car today and found the source of all the noise.  For one, the muffler has about 20 holes rusted in it.  I figured it probably had a hole, but this thing looks rough!  The exhaust pipe leading up to the muffler has a few holes too.  Wow.  I've never seen an exhaust that looks this bad.  I guess I should have actually looked at it before I made a post on here.    I can weld, but there will be no welding on this thing!  I'm probably going to need an exhaust from the manifold and back!  Anybody know of a good place to get some OEM replacements for all of this stuff?  I'd like to get rid of the catalytic converter too.  We have no inspections here in Oklahoma, so I'm not worried about it.  I don't want to buy from the Honda $tealer$hip.

get a 2.25" exhaust pipe and a silencer...

Well, if I were you .... and a good welder, first, I'd evaluate the condition of the manifold and cat.  They're probably ok.  If so, I'd replace the pipe, put in a resonator from the junkyard and get a Dynomax muffler .... weld everything together and enjoy a nice system .... for a bit more flow and power, go with 2.25" as noted, but it will be louder than stock.

Yeah, I wouldn't attempt to weld any of this stuff.  It's flaking off in chunks!  The rest of the car is in great shape.  I've been looking at replacement parts on the Auto Zone website.  They're so cheap, that it wouldn't make any sense to try and salvage the old stuff.

I just meant the cat and manifold ..... and if you don't need the cat ........

well I'm not going to recommend that you remove it for environmental reasons.

The EVO design puts out more sound than WS2 or SP2 which are the same design.  With 2 mufflers, our cars are pretty quiet with any of these exhausts.  The 4 cylinder has a louder exhaust b/c it has more flow through its single can.

Wouldn't any muffler shop be able to fix you up? New everything, quiet, and you're on your way (but with a slightly lighter wallet). I wouldn't think it would cost that much. Just the thought of toxic fumes entering the car from all the holes in the exhaust would send me scurrying.
