I have the factory remote for an alarm. Would i be able to use this remote for my new toyota 4runner.
Like can i do the unlock/lock thing with the remote.
What is it that i have to do to set up the alarm to work with the car?

toyota? unlikely, but its worth a shot. look up how to program the remotes on yotas, and try programming it for the honda remote.
Again its unlikely, but they COULD use the same wireless communication standard.

Either it does not work or im not doing it right. I found 3 differnt combos to program remotes and none worked.
So im just goin to program it for my friends Accord.
Whats the combo to program the remote to the accords? I remeber wen i did mine it was something like:
Igntion on and off 4x and press lock unlock 5x on the remote.
Can someone verify? Or if someone found out how to do it on the Yota please let me know. Im goin crazy over a little remote hhaha
