I purchased some Xenon bulbs to replace my stock ones in the 92 Accord. I was unaware that it was so difficult to replace them. Apparently the battery has to come out among other parts. The bulbs I got were 9005 and 9006. I believe the 9006 are the low beam and 9005 are the high - please correct me if I'm wrong.
Would anyone have any visual instructions are to what to remove and how to remove it to access what I need to access? Any sage advice?
Thanks!

As far as I know (and lightshow or the other guys will correct me if Im wrong, its been awhile since I've had my 91), All you have to do is move the plastic/rubberish fenderlining on each side to get to the bulbs, no need to take the battery out at all.

there is one plastic screw type thingy just turn it counterclockwise a little and the bulb comes right out. the 06's are for the lows. if you are having troubles then you have the bulbs put in professionally.

here's a removal diagram for a 91... Also, keep in mind DO NOT TOUCH the bulb itself on halogen bulbs... The oils on your hands will kill the bulbs/shorten their lifespan signifigantly... or so I've always been told... Anyway, here's the pics. If you're still having issues post some pictures of what you're looking at...

that's the manual page from a 91 accord... I know that civic's have a retainer spring and all that other junk very similar to that page I posted... guess I've never actually looked at my accord..

You were told correctly on the oil on your hans also moisture out side if it's raining will also make them go out faster...
