Yet another newbie

Hey, just giving a shout out. Just piced up an '05 EX last week. First Honda ever. I've had 2 Toyotas, a Nissan, a Mitsubishi, and a Mazda. Still have a Toyota but it is on its last legs with 275,000+ miles and the wife drives a Mazda. Just trying to learn about the 7th Gen (?) Accord. Later all.

I've been looking at the New Mazda 6 , tight looking and handling car..might have to ad one to the stable of cars.

What is your wifes car?

Thanks for the welcome. The wife drives a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. She wants something compact that she can still scoot around. That's a pretty tight handling car I must say.

The new 6 V-6 5 speed almost got my money but I felt that the '04 Accord had more to offer overall. The 6 has been removed from Consumer Reports recommended list due to too many problems reported. Glad I went Honda!!

The one I would look at VERY closely is the Mazda 3. Still recommended and a blast with the optional 2.3L & 5 speed. Even the smaller four cylinder engine is fun to drive and gets better MPG. Tight handling and fun in the curvies with either engine.
