black out your tail lights it looks very good i just did the top half so its black n red.. clean ur lenses get the spray called Night Shade and some gloss about 3 or 4 coats of the night shade and then 2 of gloss and they look amazing!!

i only did the top so you can still see brake lights lol u can still see the turn signals and reverse lights, it looks very good!

Sounds very cool. Gosh! i wish i was more of a handy man. Painting and doing stuff to my own car, it all sounds so fun and so cool wen other people do it!

You should have sprayed the interior of the lens to keep them looking OE and glossy. I used a slate gray that looked sick for a while until it completely dried and turned a pale purple.

I just bought some of the vinyl film for smoking the tail lights.  I like the idea of the vinyl because you can always remove it. There is a guy that sells it on ebay in sections that are however long you need. Not to mention it is a lot easier than spraying it on. I'm going to install it this weekend and I'll have some pics up sometime late next week.

Vinyl is easier? wouldn't spray easier since it's curved surface?
And I thought you have to wet sand to make it nice and shine...i guess not???

Yes it does look nice, i had my back lights smoked a couple years back, and there still going strong, but of course my car is white and the back lights being smoked was a must, that white on black look is awsome, i will have some pics up tonight.
