As long as they aren't horrible and the metal isn't creased you can sometimes get away with using a toilet plunger, just stick it to the side of the car an pull out

Either you wash it first or you wash your car when you're done....

The really cheap orange/red plungers work the best (if you can get a good seal) just get it on there and yank out hard/fast.  If that doesn't work then you're on to finding a way to bounce it out from the inside or talk to some body shops...

get a repair kit from autozone or somewhere. It has 3 little plungers, use adhesive, place it on dent and screw it out. You will hear a POP and the ding is less noticable. I've tried this and it didn't remove it, but did help. Give it a shot

Take a hairdryer and warm the dented surface for 5 to 10 minutes. Then take a bottle of compressed air and holding it upside down spray the dented area. Let it sit for a minute or so and the dent should come out due to the metal contracting and expanding. You can also substitute the compressed air for dry ice.

actually, it's the exact opposite of what myrtle suggested...

freeze with canned air, THEN heat dry it

this only really works with large dents:

I've always wanted to try that on my MDX, but too scared to ruin the paint...
