I keep telling my friend it dont but he keeps arguing that it does and I really dont know if it does but i doubt it. Has anyone tried it???
It has alot of feedback but my buddy and me just bet 20 bucks that yall would say it didn''''t work but yall tell us the truth. Ohh yea the turbonator is suppose to give you a more horsepower(10-30hp) and give you  better mpg.

it doesnt work, if you are that into the argument i say you buy one, and dyno a car and before and after it, and see the lack of the 50hp increase and 33% gas mileage increase.

if you are referring to the electric version where its just a fan pretty much on your intake tubes, some people have shown that it actually decreases power, because it cant spin fast enough to keep up with the standard flow of the intake

also there have been cases of pieces breaking off and destroying motors

It is a bad joke. A little research on Google will make your buddy eat crow. In many cases horspower and torque is LOST because the stupid thing is interfering with the air flow.

Here''s just one example:

The only way that I could see it improving power is on the turbo side of the air inlet acting as inlet guide vanes.  Then it would also have to be the right pitch and direction for that to work ..... not very likely, but marginally possible.
