Does anyone here have preferably a 5th gen w/ TYC projectors and HID's?

I am going to buy a set of the TYC projectors and am just wondering how the light output is. Whether it will be the same as stock with just regular bulbs, and I am sure better than stock if I put HID's in them. I know a few guys have had to drill just a little bit out of the socket to make HID's fit. So are there quite a few designs of HID bulbs even if they are the same # of bulb?
