Default 2007 Honda Accord AUX

Hello, I am new to the forums...and yes, I do have a question. I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Accord LX. Everything I have found out indicates it does not have an aux input on the front of the radio or on the back of the radio. That said, I am looking for an aux input adapter which I can connect my Cowon S9 mp3 player to via a male-to-male aux cable. I do not need an iPod adapter, nor do I want one. I was wondering if you guys recommend such a device, if so which one. I was able to go to a store around where I live and they wanted about $225 for the adapter and installation. That said, I cannot remember which adapter they suggested. THANKS for all the help.

Edit: After looking further into the matter, it seems that this from Crutchfield ought to work. But, that leaves me wondering, what was it that the store wanted to sell me for $180? Probably something related to an iPod/charger setup.

Would you guys recommend that device from Crutchfield? Thanks.

Pacific Accessory Corporation and USA Spec are both companies that sell an interface that allows you to gain an aux input. some are for ipod. you don't need/want the ipod versions. you just want an aux input.

visit their websites, enter your vehicle info, and search their product. once you find what you need - find someone who sells that.

it will be more than $100 and less than $180 (most likely).

Ok, thank you. So are you saying that what I linked above would not work for what I want it to do? In the reviews on that product it seems people were able to use it for their mp3 player.

I will check out those two companies you mentioned.

Edit: I was able to find two on Pacific Accessory Corporation's website but...they refer to my car needing to have XM radio for compatibility, which it doesn't. So, that leads me to believe that neither will work.
Option 1
Option 2

sorry, i didn't see the link.

no, that allows you to add a Sony CD Changer. You want one that specifically adds an Aux input.

Start with PACaudio.com. you'll see a decent list of interfaces

Yeah, I found a couple that might work (linked above), but my specific car doesn't have XM radio. If all else fails, I could always replace the head unit (I would like to keep it because the rest of the dash is built around it). Thanks.

the XM button is important as it means that radio can support an aux input.

you could try to find a replacement factory head unit. replacing it is very difficult since climate controls are also integrated into the display.

or you could use an FM modulator - offers poor sound quality. FM modulators take the audio signal from the mp3 player and put them on the antenna wire on an FM station. this could be a temporary solution while you look for a replacement factory head unit.

The cd button is actually listed as CD/AUX, though no AUX exists...

Edit: My radio is identical to the one shown in these pictures...
