Default Why are Accords hard to sell ?

So I bought an Accord SE in 2007 ($33,000 tax's in), my second Accord and my 7th Honda product (2 Accords, 1 Civic, 3 Interga and a Honda lawn mower - which is now 17 years old and start on 1 pull!!) So you could say I'm a bit of a Honda Fanboy lol

My experience in trying to sell my 2007 Accord has left me a bit surprised ! Just a hand full of interested people (4 people), half of which only want to deal through email and want to use paypal (which I have been told is solid sign of a scam).

$8200 for 2007 SE with 157K, only serviced at the dealer with a set of Toyo winter tires and brand new all season's - sound reasonable ??

When I sold our 2005 Jetta TDi Wagon 2 years ago, it had 188K on it and sold in 2 days at asking price ($14,000) !

I wonder if this could be the 'Fix-Fear-Factor' syndrome.
I can't comment about Hondas of that era...2007. (Mine is a '94 model).
But I'm aware that people can be scared off by potential repair costs.

I have a 2000 model year 9-3 Saab which is a great car, I just love it, but I got it VERY cheap with a known history, so it was worth the gamble.
Many of the cars built in the last 15-20 years are so full of complex electronics that the home-mechanic or even the 'local' mechanic can't fix 'em, so repair costs even for relatively simple things can be scary!
