if its fuel injected then it has to have a computer that controls the engine. You are correct, the LXi versions have 120hp(i assume the i stands for injected).

I would figure out the general idea that the shape of your intake tube goes, then find another car like civic or newer accord that has a similar shape, and buy a cheap one on ebay and make it fit.

alright well problem is I only have $40, and im debating on getting a cold air intake or doing the $50 paint job with tremclad and mineral spirits and foam rollers.

could I make an air intake out of

[ol][*]Cone filter[*](1) 90-degree bend 3.5in to 4in (or whatever size you chose) PVC pipe[*]One foot or so straight PVC pipe of the size you chose[*](1) 90-degree bend PVC pipe[*]Assorted PVC fittings, a closet fitting, depending on your filter[*]Screws, small nuts and bolts for the closet fitting[*]PVC cement [/ol]

could, would be almost as expensive, if not the same as just buying a cheap one on ebay, which the ebay one would look far better. also using rollers to paint a car................not going to end up looking good, could do a far better job with just spray paint.

spray paint really? and thanks a lot your really helpful (serious). I was banned from ebay some time ago though, I cant even register an account to buy now a days. I thought it would be cool to make money online selling **** when I was 15 and messed up somethings and got kicked off.

All paint jobs are spray on, it simply just can not be done well with a roller or brush. The intake looks somewhat similar to a 5th gen accord, juts looks to have maybe a little bit more of a bend in it. I would take some measurements as to how long your stock intake is, then compare it to some other cars, as you wont be able to find one for your car.
