Default adjust of idle.....

Thank you to all for the invaluable info about my problem with the cluster dilemma. I have changed wires and plugs, cleaned the IAC valve and now the engine completely smooth....but the idle speed is about 700RPMS. The engine sounds like it is laboring. I understand that the idle may need adjustment. Do I also reset the ECU? What are the steps to setting the new idle speed and when do I disconnect the IAC....and when do I reset the ECU? Thank you, Wheel, Lightshow, Deserthonda and Marbro.

Shouldn't be laboring. 700 is just about where you need to be (+ or - 50 RPMs). There is an idle adjustment screw on the throttle body, but you're within specs. Tell us more about this laboring...
