RE: Camshaft
im at school right now my manuals are at home but you want to start at the ends and work in. also spin the motor after your done and make sure nothing is holding it up. if the rotation does stop do NOT give it hell and try to spin it you have put the cam in wrong. im not saying you will but just as a precaution. if someone else doesnt give the specs i can hook it up later tonight when i get off work.

I appreciate you looking for me. nothing came up in the search. I understand why you usually don't change out the cams on these, probably why this info isn't so readily available. but I needed to machine the head a little. I appreciate you looking for me.

ok so start with loosely installing the bolts. then tighten each bolt 2 turns at a time in the proper sequence, starting in the middle
the middle two are numbers one and two, the next two are the two bolts to the left, then the next two are the closest two bolts to the right of the middle two that you started with, and then you go on from there until you get to the outside. and you want to torque the 6mm bolts to 9 ft.lbs and the 8 mm bolts to 16 ft/lbs

i have no clue, i have a v6 02 accord. hope that helps. also i was talkn to a performance shop guy today about the camshafts and he said that getting cl-s camshafts and putting that into my car wont make it smoke legal cause im replacing parts internally. is it true?
