im interested in doing a 5 speed conversion to my 97 accord lx i already installed the f23a vtec motor but its still automatic, does anyone know what i need and what i have to do to the car, i need to gather everything because i only have a 2 day period to do this conversion since im only off 2 days.

 

Master and slave cylinder, shifter cable, clutch pedal assy, some drilling require. 5sp tranny complete with fly wheel and clutch kit. hydraulic lines, both axles. complete shifter assy, rewire for back up light switch and speedometer. Misc nuts and bolts.

 

!!and you have to weld a bracket to the inside of the firewall under the dash for additional clutch pedal support or you WILL bend the little frame that unbolts from the firewall of your donor car. Learn from my mistakes!!

 

and to the best my knowlage the pass side axle is useable in auto or 5 speed trans. and grab a shifter assembly from a prelude dont bother with the stock accord shifter assembly.
