I have an F22B2 and a TON of options here. A little input please?

Default I have an F22B2 and a TON of options here. A little input please?

Hey everyone. I just bought a 1994 Accord LX with a F22B2 5 speed in it.
I LOVE the car and am currently in the research stage.

The reason I bought the car is that I found out a few weeks ago that I spun a crank bearing in my 92 Prelude SI with a H23A1.

I'm looking at salvaging what I can from the Prelude and putting it on the Accord. What can I swap over from the Prelude to the Accord engine-wise?

Also, I know this is the wrong place but any advise on what else I could swap over from the Prelude would be helpful too.

Thanking all of the Accord pros in advance,

EJiK

Not all too much can be swapped over from the prelude engine wise, at least not for performance gains. With some work the head could. The transmission could be for better acceleration(assuming the prelude is a 5speed as well).

I'm not sure if that year had 5 lug hubs, but with some work you can convert your Accord to 5 lug with Prelude parts.

92 is 4 lug like the accords. you could swap the rims and tires. brakes are a little better so you could swap those over. Im not sure if the prelude is pressed on rotor or not but if not you could do the conversion.

if its 5 speed swap the shifter over as well.

Default Prelude parts transfer

Thanks for the responses guys.

Im already going to swap over the rims since my Prelude has pretty nice wheels on it.

Mainly what I am looking at doing is Swapping over the Skunk2 lowering springs from the prelude, swapping over the disc brakes from the rear of the prelude, also maybe swapping over the prelude steering wheel since my accord one is all jacked up, installing the Strut Bars i have on the prelude and anything else you guys can think of. Any thoughts on how these swaps may pan out?

Also the H23a1 head on the F22b2 block should be pretty straight forward and I'm certain I will be doing that this week or next.

Is the Prelude radiator any better? Fuel Pump? Steering Rack? Transmission?

Any other thoughts on this scenario would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS EVERYONE!

you can't just slap the h23 head on a f22 block. more work than you think...research is needed for this swap. I know Iv done a few. More of a headache than you think

wouldnt you lose power putting a h23 head on a f22 block because of a drop in comppression?

n you will gain power since it is a DOHC head. The head flows about the same but the intake manifold is better and so are the camshafts profile. But like I said it's not a walk in the partk. For the price try and find a h23 engine and swap it. Doin the head swap will cost you close if not more than just buying a use h23 engine.
