Question Turbo for honda accord 1999

Where can I buy a good turbo and what is the range that I will be looking at on how much money I am going to spend on it? Also would a f22 turbo kit be good? and where could I buy one?

Does your car have an automatic transmission? If so, don't bother with the turbo, the transmission won't be able to handle the extra power.

Default 4cyl automatic

So there is no point in putting a turbo in my car if it is a automatic?

Is there anything I can do to make my car take off faster?

Not unless you want to be buying lots of new transmissions. If you want a faster car, your best bet would be to sell your car and buy a car designed by its manufacturer to be faster.

If you want a faster car, I'd agree with Shipo.

If you want your hobby to be working on the car, then maybe sell it, get a manual-trans Accord, then boost it.

Agreed. Funny thing though, the manual transmission versions of the Accord are already significantly faster than the automatic versions; that may be enough for the OP without messing with a blower.

Thank you guys for your input on my situation. I was wanting to make my car fast but it makes sense to buy a new one that is a manual so its easier for me to turbo or boost it.

Having a manual transmission doesn't make it any easier.

Having an automatic transmission just means it'll break as soon as you increase the power enough to have fun.

Yup, if you're going to be selling your car anyway, you might as well buy something designed to deal with the power/performance you want.
