Default Small power boost for my F22A

I'm looking into ways to get a little more power out of my 91 LX without giving up to many mpg.I average around 30-35 mpg, all city, lastimeI checked.I'm very open to any helpful information anyone can give me. I was also wondering if thereare any engine swaps thatwill give more hp but still around the same mpg.

HP up = MPG down

Your MPG will hurt with the more HP you add like falkore said. A cold air intake or a short ram will give you a slight increase in HP and the mileage should stay about the same. Aftermarket exhaust will give you a slight bump in HP as well. An H22 (engine from a Honda Prelude)swap is pretty much a direct bolt in with your car, but your MPG will probably go down to 25-28(manual trans - worse with an auto)if I had to guess.

I looked into an H22 swap with myf22 5spd for longer gears, butI haven'treallydecided if Iwant to pay for higher octane gas to get less mpgs.
