Would F23 head bolts directly on F22b1 block
Hey everyone , i need help resolving this issue. I have an Acura CL 2.2 same as the accord. I recently added a turbo setup and before that i shaved the head about half or a little more, and now is giving me issue because it raised compression and reduces CFM's and here is hard to find an F22b1 head and one of my friends is selling me an F23 head for cheap , i just want to know if it would fit my block or some modification might need to be done and also if it would be the same compression as stock 8:8:1 because now i am on 10:5:1 and that is way to much for turbo. I had 8 lbs and it lasted me 1 month and going easy with it. I just want to fix the head issue so i can get a good tune with at least 10-12 lbs because right now im only with 5 lbs .
If you guys need to know my turbo set up it is the following:
T3/T4 T04e turbo
450cc injectores
High pressure fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator from 0-140 psi
Blow off HKS and wastegate 5 psi spring right now
Clutch Stage 3
JDM Intecooler
And im and using Apeaxi Safc 2 to control the air/fuel mixture but would be getting the jumper harness from OBD 2a to OBD 1 and p28 to get a good tune .
I would appreciated if someone can give me an advised or if someone has done this setup. I know that best thing to do is to go G23 (f22 with H22 head) but i can effort it yet. I just want to lower compression to add more boost .
Thanks in advance !

From all of the reading I've done on the forums of this site, YES the F23 head will bolt onto the F22 block. As for whether it'll raise the compression or not, I have no idea. Also, from what I've read the H22 head will also bolt onto the F22 block.
