Default 02 EX V6 TCS / Check Engine light on

2002 Accord EX V6 - We were just driving down the road last night and the TCS and check engine light came on. Car is running fine other than that. It has 93K miles on it.

There are a million things in the car that can trip codes
It would be a great idea to have the codes scanned and then repost back what the actual codes are.

Default ran a scan

Ok - I took it to Autozone and they ran a scan that came up P401 EGR flow insufficient. They didn't have the valve in stock so I'm looking for it. Why would that also make the TCS light come on?

Its not the valve. It is going to be a plugged up port. Common problem on the 98-02 V6. There is a TSB with the procedure. Just google 99-085 TSB. The first hit shows the procedure.

I recently helped my friend with this. It really isn't too bad to do. The throttle body gasket stuck to the intake, so we had to scrape that off. We replaced that gasket. I skipped steps 8-13. Just used the drill bit by hand to clean out the passage, then a test tube cleaner + throttle body cleaner to remove the rest of the buildup stuck on there. We also replaced the gasket between the cylinder head and the intake manifold just to be safe.
