1991 Accord - Anti freeze leak:(
I hope someone can help me!
My accord...its a 91 ex started dripping anti freeze fluid this morning....its dripping from the right hand side of the car...where the anti freeze tank is...the tank was full so i took some fluid out but its still dripping in drops....is this the water pump?? I am short on cash so Im hoping its not the water pump but i dont know what the side the water pump is The fluid is dripping from the right hand side where the tank is from the front....can anyone please shed some light on this....I drive a lot and if this is a water pumpi think im in big trouble

From your description of the over filled coolant reservoir bottle; I would first suggest that you open the radiator cap and check the level in the radiator.
If the radiator is low, there Could be a radiator cap problem or an engine overheating problem.
If you need to add coolant to the radiator be sure to burp the system [engine off]by filling the radiator and then open the 12mm bleed screw at the T-stat housing to get out any trapped air.
If there is no overheating, the radiator cap not allowing coolant to flow backwill be the most likely problem.

thanks for ur reply!! i checked the radioator by opening the cap and it was full...did not need to be topped up at all....the car isent voer heating so far...i just drove 80 miles with my ac on and it didnt heat...i just moved my car to another spot a few mins ago to see if its still dripping...its dripping but a little less..?
