Default 1993 Honda Accord won't start after having the water pump and timing belt changed

I had my 93 Honda accords timing belt replace when I replaces the water pump. The guy who fixed it was a family friend. We got the car back and now it won't start. What else could be the problem. the water pump went out so we figured since he had to take off the belt to get to the water pump we figured we might as well replace the belt now it won't start. It turns over but doesn't start my dad checked it to make sure it was getting gas and it was. My dads a machanic but 1 he don't like messing with hondas and 2 he has cancer so i'm trying to keep him from under it. any advice will help
