1997 accord lx fans not working

ok thnks, ill do that. i know the pressure sensor is located beneath the car, just was unsure of the other location. im really happy the wiring isnt gone to the rad fan didnt wanna go to far into wiring, also i dont know if this will help, but i believe the heater core is on its way out, if its been like this for a while it would introduce air pockets in the coolant correct? could air in the lines cause the switch not to work?

so i didnt get the chance to checkfor air pockets in the coolant yet, but i did check the a/c system, with the connector you specified the a/c engages and the rad fan turns on, so im either out of the refridgerant, or i have a leak. the condensor fan is not working so i checked it out and it is loose to the touch so most likely it is dead and needs replacing.

Put 12v directly to it, hot wire right from the battery...if it works, find out why the voltage isn't getting to it. If it does not, replace as soon as you can...it is getting hot and you need all the cooling you can get.
As far as the AC. Can you measure both the high and low pressures, while running, with a gauge? You might add a bit of refrig, suggest using some with UV dye in it so you can try to find the leak.

yea, im going to buy an ac pressure test kit with r134, saves a few dollars. i have to fill the other car as well, as the shop that did the heater core on the nissan didnt refill r134 so there is no pressure, most of the kits around here already have the dye in it. as far as the condensor fan goes i will get +12 to it to test but it is very loose and feels like the internal bearings have gone south. ill post results soon
