1999 2.3l vtec solenoid gasket leaking
It started as a slow drip last week...now it's a gusher. Can't drive the car until it's fixed. Thought the rocker cover gasket was the source, took the cover off and used rtv gasket maker and replaced the cover. Started the engine and oil appeared immediately.. The oil is clearly coming from the vtec solenoid. I've been reading as much as I can find on the subject. I can buy a new gasket with filter from
TAS Auto but I don't know for sure what the part number is. The car is a 1999 Accord LX 2.3l vtec. I would appreciate the help.

Can't tell which one is leaking from the pictures, but there's 3 "gaskets".
Parts drawing shows the whole VTEC spool valve as one assembly, with a gasket where it bolts against the head. 15825-P0A-015
The VTEC oil-pressure switch screws into the side, and has a small O-ring gasket. 91319-PAA-A01
The VTEC solenoid is at the top, with a 3-bolt triangle flange shown in your photos. That one is not shown as a separate part, but maybe your dealer parts department can do something.

Problem solved
Parts cost me $23.78 at the local Honda dealer.
Removed the air intake tube, the egr valve and removed the 2 bolts holding the thermostat assembly to intake manifold. Tried to used a swivel adapter on the vtec assembly bolts but they were way too tight and I needed to approach them straight-on. Removing the egr valve and pushing the thermostat assembly out of the way was easy. The wife is happy her car is running again and I am happy too.
