Default 2000 accord 4 lug to 5 lug

Hey guys

I have a question

is there any chance to put 5 lug hub to 2000 accord with 4 lug hub ?

Ive seen some adapters but they cost over $400 and they will move the wheel

out inch or sth..

the reason why I ask is, that I got a nice deal on bran new GP5 18x8 rims and

they are on 5 lugs..

if there was topic like that before, sorry I couldnt find it..

If you have the tires, measure from the center of the rim to the edge. Then measure it on your car to get an idea of how they would fit.

Do you know year of accord would your new tires bolt directly on to? Maybe the 03-07? The 5-lug setup has a measurement in mm, because there are different sized 5-lug setups.

There is too many things to do if I change the hub.. I was more consider about the adapters..

whats the way the adapters work ? I will have to cut/short the stock bolts?

some people say that its very dangerous to use them .. but maybe some of you havr experience with them ??

I did some research online and I saw people putting 18x8 on the 6th gen accord.. the only problem is how its gonna work with the adapters.. ??

I wish I have enough knowledge to find all this information but unfortunately english is my second language and its kinda hard for me ..

I called today about the adapters and they say that they gotta be 2" thick....

Is it possible that 18x8 rims gonna fit without bigger modifications ??
