2000 Accord Coupe transmission replaced/speedometer not accurate
2000 Honda Accord Coupe
2.3 L - 4 cylinder
Automatic Transmission
Recently had the transmission replaced with a used one. Transmission is working fine but now the speedometer reads approximately 8-10 mph faster than actual, based on speed app used with my iPhone on the dash. Tested on freeway, app shows 60 mph, speedometer shows 68-70 mph.
Prior to replacing transmission, the speed sensor and a couple of solenoids were replaced to see if this would help the transmission problem I was having with shifting, jerking, slipping, etc. These components were removed from the old transmission and installed on the new one.
There is no CEL, so i was wondering if I should replace the speed sensor, or just drive as is and compensate speed based on speedometer reading.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
