Hi,
I have a little problem with the factory alarm in my 2001 Accord Coupe 6 cylinder EX. My alarm won't trigger, even though doors, trunk and "panic" buttons work well. I can open and close doors with transmitter, but the horn won't sound and lights won't flash when triggering with transmitter. Further, the "security button" on the driver's door won't flash.

Can someone recommend a solution? Or perhaps tells me where the alram module is located.

I am having the exact same problem, doors lock and unlock with FOB but no horn or lights, and the security light on the door near the lock is not coming on.

Did you figure your problem out? Were there any replies?

check the hood latch switch....system does not arm if it thinks the hood is up

 

bump for the same problem for my wifes 04 accord. I did a search and the common diagnosis is fuse and actuator. Can someone confirm...thanks.
