Default 2001 Honda accord with p1166 and P1167 code

Hello everyone, Having issue with my honda accord 4 D sedan LX is coming up with Check engine light. Code p1166 and p 1167.

Brief history about the car:Check engine light came up with same code so i went to local auto repair shop and they replaced o2 sensor. few days went buy without the check engine light and suddenly my car had a transmission failure. So I replaced the transmission with one from honda (did it at auto repair shop). Check engine light went away for a a week but came back. I went back to same transmission shop and they told me everything looks good from their end. Went to another shop were i had my o2 senor replaced and that guy told me its a computer issue. Went to sears and they replaced second o2 sensor without any luck.

any idea whats causing the p1166 and p1167 code? should i just take my car to a honda dealer? already spent some $3000 on that car. thank you.

going to assume it's a 4 cylinder.

  1. Check the following fuses:
    if those fuses are good

    Replace the A/F Sensor relay

of course this is based on the assumption that the A/F ratio sensor they replaced is good and is the correct part.

      Default Same P1167 code

I've got the same issue with P1167 code resetting. I've changed the Upper O2/air fuel sensor, and the fuses mentioned are good. Not sure what else to check. Any hints? It's a 1999 Accord EX with Vtec F23A1 4 cylinder engine.
