"Notchy" Shifting on '07 V6

RE: "Notchy" Shifting on '07 V6
This problem iscommon on both Acuras and Hondas from 2003 forward. The only known fix is Switching to the GM Friction Modified Syncromesh fluid. Some Acura dealers are doing this under warranty since the new Honda fluid is not helping the issue long term. It is expensive but it works. The six speed always has the 2 - 3 issue and some five speeds have a 1 - 2 issue when shifted quickly. The six speed can get bad enough to where it will kick itself out of 3rd gear if no action is taken.
I hope this helps.

Thanks, guys, for the replies to my problem with shifting. I mentioned to my dealer's service tech the possibility of changing out the transmission fluid; dare I add that I got nowhere with the suggestion???[X(][:@]

well, there is a 'newer' honda mtf that came out maybe a year or two ago, and there was a service bulletin that suggested using htat for a replacement to help with this issue...but going to a GM part....did he laugh out loud, or just chuckle quietly?

'Sorry to appear such a dunderhead: but what is "mtf"?
I ask this because the last thing the dealer tech said--that is, after peering at me with a patronizing grin--was that he would "check for bulletins" on this issue.
Say, what's that line about flying pigs...???

I have the 5 speed, 1st to 2nd grind/notch issue. Changed the transmission fluid at the Honda dealer...did nothing. Technician also found nothing wrong with the car. What should I do? It happens 30% of the time I would say
