My wife has an '05 Accord Hybrid. The check engine light is on. We did the paperclip thing and got a flash code of 69 from the MIL light and a code of 78 from the MIL light.

So far I've had no luck in finding what these codes mean. Can anyone help?

Sorry, that 78 code was from the IMA light.

 

take it to the dealer ,, should be under warranty..

 

yeah, that is an IMA code but it can either be an A/T pressure control solenoid C problem or the IMA battery is loosing it's efficiency.

however depending on the code it there are several fixes - p15A5 - we update the IMA software.
p0A7F- also fixed by updating the IMA software.

certain VIN numbers also get a PGM FI software update.

if it recodes you'll need to replace whatever is fault. the IMA warranty is: (years/mileagex1000)
