2006 Accord 4 cyl hard to start

What happens when pump goes off? Does fuel pressure immediately begin to go down?
Decay of pressure when pump is off confirms leak in either check valve or fuel pressure regulator.
Looks like your pressure (46 psi) is just below lower limit spec of 47 psi. Gauge error could easily account for slight difference.
good luck

OK, no drop for 15 mins eliminates Fuel Pressure Regulator or fuel pump check valve as possibile causes for extended start time.
Suggest monitoring fuel pressure during a cold start to confirm low fuel pressure is what is delaying start. Fuel presssure substantially below static limit (46 psi) during start. If yes, then fuel delivery volume is too low. Either faulty fuel pump or partially blocked inlet screen.
If low fuel pressure during cold start is confirmed, then fuel pump replacement is indicated for either blocked inlet screen or faulty pump.
good luck

I hadn't checked the air filter because I thought the dealer had when it was in for service. It was pretty bad so I changed it. This might be in my head but it seems to crank faster but still no change in starting right away and the clutch on the started disengaging/engaging making that funny noise. Someone also mentioned it is a possibility that the timing belt jumped a notch. I think this is a chain but is this a possibility? One other observation, there was a ticking noise for a while so I thought it was time to adjust the valves but it doesn't make that noise anymore. Can you check the timing? I looked in my service manual and it didn't have a section for this.

I'm guessing you are not in the US, since you reported the mileage in km.
Parts stores will scan for engine codes as a free service. I'd have the codes read to see if there is a possible problem the engine computer is detecting.

I'm not sure what DTC's are but I'm assuming trouble codes. Would a timing problem throw a code and turn the check engine light on? Wouldn't other coded also turn on the light? I have an OBD reader that plugs into my laptop but I'm not sure what to look for. The strange thing is the car runs great, just the starting problem.
