Hi..

I have an 06 Accord that the driver side window has stopped working. For the past year when I would use the one touch up, it would go about 1/4 of the way up and go back down. If I held the switch up it would go all the way back up so I just dealt with it. Yesterday it stopped working (up or down) all together. Before I replace the regulator/motor, is it possible the window switch itself is bad? And if so how can I test this. Thanks

 

Could be the switch.

Are the other windows working?

Is this a two or four door?

Is the #27 under dash fuse (20 amp) good?

Yes, all other windows are working
Accord is a four door
Checked #27 fuse and it's good

Luckly I have a friend that has a 06 Accord. I am going to take his switch out and try on mine. So that will tell me.
