Default 2007 accord oil filter recomendation

I have searched forums, but I have not found a clear consensus yet. What oil filter do most people recommend for the 2006/2007 (4cyl automatic) accord?

I plan on using regular Mobil1 fully synthetic oil.

Thanks.

You'll get as many opinions as there are filters. Mobil makes a very good filter but it's pricey.

I'd go either Honda OEM, Purolator or Mobil1. I personally use Mobil1, but they are pretty pricey at $10 a pop. There sell bulk packs of the blue Honda filters online pretty cheap too.

How often do you plan to change your filter/oil?

I personally have been using Mobil1 5W30 and Honda Filter every 7500 miles for years, the engine is in great shape. But this last oil change I switched to Mobil1 EP 5W30(it was on sale in Walmart!) and Mobil1 Filter and plan to change every 10K.

If you have a Napa parts store near by, Napa Gold. Made by WIX. Very good filters.

Honda filters are now made by Fram. There are MANY better choices for the money. If you can find Honda filters made by Filtech, they are the ones to buy.....if not thenpass. NAPA, Wix, Purolator, Hastings, are all good filters. The supertech filters from Wal Mart are also a very good buy unless you are going for very long term change intervals like 10K or more.

We like to badmouth Fram, probably from stories of guys cutting filters apart & finding cardboard end-plates & stuff like that.

Has anyone cut open a Honda filter from Honeywell/Fram?? I haven't. Just because they build 'em like that for their own label, doesn't mean they build 'em that same way for Honda.

Thanks for the info.
I have done more research, and it does seem that the recommended filters are mobil1, pureone, and wix. Some people recommend the OEM filter, but i hear that it's hard to get the filtech ones anymore.

can u guys recommend anywhere online that's cheap to get filters?

I just checked out amazon. Are the pureones at amazon usually at this price level? I think they were 2 for $11.
