It's a 1990 Honda Accord LX w/about 150,000 miles on it. I start it and start driving about 35 -40 mph. The speedometer is at 0 and won't move. Then in about 2 or 3 minutes the green S starts flashing. Then about 2 minutes after that the check engine light comes on. I put a fire extinguisher in it just in case :-) I've replaced the TCU about a year ago. Any idears?

\P.S. Also what would be a ball park estimate on replacing the timing belt on it in Florida (at an honest tech's shop, not the dealer).

 

Sounds to me that the vehicle speed sensor is out, check the other post with the same issue for suggestions.

P/S probably around $450, it's really best to have all the seals and waterpump changed at the same time.
