Default picking out transmission for 93 accord

So I've got a 93 LX with the F22A and 250k and I think the tranie is dying.
Motor is fine, just did timing belt, but eventually I will want to replace it with a H22A DOHC.

The tranie is automatic and I wanna keep it that way (I like it, you can override), my question is, if I simply replace the tranny now, will it work with the other motor later? Is there a better or racing auto tranny that would work for me?

This car has been at the bottom of a lake for 3 days, rolled, and around the world, I beat her and she just purrs. First time on this site, thanks! Jesse

I'd contact dr. evil transmissions (search for them online) and tell them what you'd like to do, my guess is that your 93 tranny isn't going to bolt to a h22a but I could be wrong.... dr. evil tranny's are kinda spendy but they're as close to bulletproof as you're going to get without spending $6000.00 for one....

I lived in Northern Wisconsin where in the winter.. the lake is sometimes faster than the road. I lived on the lake and had a little ramp plowed, every winter as soon as I'd see the trucks and RV's and snomobiles out there I'd start taking the lake! Sweet town Minocqua, WI is on an island anyway. So it's New Years Eve and I'm headed home by myself.. Ice racing teaches you quite a bit about control! It had been real cold but no snow so there was just ice and it was so much fun, I must have been out there screwing around for hours. No traffic laws!! Finally I'm headed home from the other side of the lake and a doctor that was too lazy to take his dock out in the winter put an aerator in the water to keep it open. The pictures tell the rest. www.jessecolter.com/images/waterworld2 ALL I DID WAS DRY HER OUT FOR 6 MONTHS AND CHANGE FLUIDS. I've put on 50k since then. Only things I had to replace were the cruise pump and the front wheel bearings. Wanna race?
